Save to Google Drive
Every recording is always kept in this browser first, then copied to the place you pick below.
Option A · a Drive folder on your Mac
Install Google Drive for desktop, then choose a folder inside My Drive (e.g. “Video Diary”). Files appear in the cloud automatically. Works in Chrome / Edge.
Option B · upload straight to Drive
No desktop app needed. Paste a Google OAuth Client ID (Google Cloud Console → Credentials → Web app, with as an authorised JavaScript origin).
Accounts in a Google Sheet (optional)
Sign-ups and logins are saved in a Google Sheet you own. Passwords are stored scrambled (salted hashes), never as plain text. Your recordings stay on this Mac / your Drive.
One-time setup (≈3 min)
1. Create a new Google Sheet. 2. Extensions → Apps Script, delete the sample code, paste the code below, Save. 3. Deploy → New deployment → Web app · Execute as Me · Who has access Anyone → Deploy → allow access. 4. Copy the Web app URL and paste it on the right.
Connect
Each time you change the code, use Deploy → Manage deployments → edit → New version.
This browser
Important: recordings kept only in this browser are lost if you clear Chrome’s site data or switch browsers, so connect Google Drive (or download your videos) to keep them safe.
